Just Kids documentaries are a powerful and accessible way to begin a dialogue about complex subjects, in classrooms or at home, with small children or teenagers. One way of doing this is using this lesson plan [link]. It allows teachers to set topical events into context. Or it provokes children to think about sensitive subjects.
At international film festivals, Just Kids is often part of the educational programme and our directors are present to engage in conversation with the audience.
Just Kids enjoys working together with other organisations that stimulate children to think about children’s rights. Examples are Defence for Children, AMREF Flying Doctors, Stichting Kinderpostzegels and Fiep Westendorp Foundation. Want to find out more about what educational opportunities Just Kids offers?
